Pray for Udon Thani, Thailand!
Prayer Requests
1. That the LEAD team members would be able to get their long-term visas.
2. That our team would continue to grow more in Christlikeness as we grow in our understanding of Thai culture, making our witness relevant and powerful.
3. That God will make the seeds of the gospel grow.
Stories of Encouragement
“The LEAD team has a neighbor named Park. He is a 26 year old single guy. Aarong and I went to visit Park because he had been talking about boredom and loneliness because of the quarantine and not being able to work. He is a tattoo artist. As we talked about how we were doing, he shared with us about an acquaintance he had who had just died 3 days ago. To him it was so sudden. It was not related to Covid. It was an opportunity to talk about spiritual things. I asked him what he thought about death. He claimed to not be afraid of death and will be ready when the time comes. We learned that he has read a lot about Buddhism and what to expect at death. That in the end it was just the end of life and nothing more. This opened up a longer conversation about truth, heaven and hell, God and Jesus being the way of salvation. He said that he leans towards Buddhism because that is what he knows the most about. We asked him if he was open to learning more about who God is from the Bible and the claims of Jesus. He said he would. Pray that as we meet, God would make the gospel seed grow in his life.”
