Snapshot: CO + TGCW24 = J.O.Y
The Gospel Coalition’s Women’s Initiatives hosted a conference last week in Indianapolis. Nearly 9,000 women attended and were exposed to great teaching, powerful worship, an incredible bookstore, and 83 exhibitors representing various organizations focused on expanding the Kingdom of God. Campus Outreach SERVE was one of those exhibitors and the only campus ministry.
CO SERVE hosted a dinner during the conference, filling a room with staff women (present and former) and friends of the ministry. Three retired women were present who were unfamiliar with the ministry but investigating how to invest their lives in this new phase. Tears filled their eyes as the CO SERVE Women’s Leader Development Team shared about the development of women’s ministry throughout CO history, the various training opportunities available, and stories of international staff women who have grown up in Christ with the help of Campus Outreach. “Maybe college-age women are where we should invest,” they shared.
