Snapshot: Living Intentionally
Carley Naramore committed many years ago to invest her life in others for the sake of eternity. For a time, that meant being on staff with Campus Outreach at Georgia College. Another season of life found her discipling two sons and supporting her husband Joe while he was on staff with CO and then when he worked for the local church. In the most recent season, Joe has returned to Campus Outreach staff as the East Coast Network Director. Carley has navigated major health issues – cancer and a new heart - all while working as an Interior Designer with Ethan Allen.
In January 2022, Carley expanded her commitments to include trips to the University of South Florida’s campus to meet with the women there. She began mentoring the staff woman and helping her with the ministry. Between driving to campus and driving to Ethan Allen, Carley was spending a LOT of time alone in her car. She told Joe, “I didn’t survive a heart transplant to drive I-4 to Ethan Allen and help people decorate their homes! I want to give my time to things that matter for eternity.” Joe responded, “Let’s make that happen!”
Joe and Carley began to work with the Campus Outreach Regional Director, David Springer, to figure out how Carley could best help with what was a smaller team. Because of her conscious choices to intentionally live in light of her priorities, Carley now shepherds the three staff women in the region and is helping three more through the hiring process. Her commitment all those years ago – to invest her life in others – is continuing to make an impact.
