It's CCP "Season"!!

CO will host 21 cross-cultural projects (CCP) this summer; six are already underway. Brian Phillips shared, “We see God use Cross-Cultural Projects in lives like no other Campus Outreach event! God not only uses CCP as a major stimulus for our overseas teams, but He also uses the time to change the trajectory of lives for the participants.”

Last May, Lusaka hosted a Cross-Cultural Project (CCP). While the American students were there, they helped host a cookout and knocked on every door on campus to meet and invite students. One of the students they invited was Janet.

Janet met some of the Campus Outreach staff at the cookout. Soon after, she attended Kabwata Baptist Church and the weekly Campus Outreach meetings. As Janet got more involved with the ministry, she saw she wasn’t right with God and surrendered her life to Him!

By year’s end, Janet had been baptized and attended the Leadership Project. This beautiful transformation in her life began when a visiting American student knocked on her door.

The Campus Outreach team in Brazil just welcomed its first CCP in five years, and for seven weeks, its “full-time campus staff” will increase from five to 19! Opportunities to meet students will also increase exponentially.

“Half of our team members are Brazilian, and all of them would say that a CCP was a major part of their process of becoming Christians. Having these new, exciting, college-age Americans on campus with us is huge; it draws students to us and creates relationship opportunities,” says Braden Dowdy.

Pray that the CCPs this summer will reap fruit that impacts God’s Kingdom for years to come.
