Have You Listened to the CO StaffCast?
Coming out of the COVID years and seeing how isolation had impacted college campuses worldwide, CO SERVE leadership contemplated how to best encourage and expose new and existing staff to the ministry's original vision and values. Leadership determined that a podcast would be the best means of communication, and the CO StaffCast was born.
Season one began in January of 2023, featured guests from the ministry’s earlier years, and focused on the founding vision and values established in the early days of Campus Outreach. In season two, guests shared what God has been doing more recently. Season Three launched in August 2024, with host Jon Elam joining Kent Bailey and Sandy Willson to kick off episodes about what God is doing now and what we look forward to Him doing in the next several years.
Future guests will include regional directors, hub-church pastors, and individuals from organizations that are in contact with Campus Outreach and want to be a part of it through influence and encouragement. Authors of new books and people creating new content applicable to modern campus ministry are also on the upcoming guest list.
The CO StaffCast is a unique tool for encouraging and equipping staff. The conceptualization, interviews, and production come from those who have been where the staff worldwide are, have walked in their shoes, and can relate to their specific challenges and opportunities. As the saying goes, this is a podcast by CO staff for CO staff.
