CO Belo Horizonte was established in 1997 in partnership with Communidade Horizonte church to reach the next generation of Brazilian students. While 65% of Brazil’s population identifies as Catholic, the campus is very secular, with much cultural resistance to the evangelical church. In Brazil, campus ministries are few, making the need for genuine relationships and life-on-life discipleship even more significant in this highly relational culture.
Pray for the location…
Pray that God will accomplish His Kingdom work as staff follow up with students about the gospel.
Pray that God will provide the local church with a pastor by the end of this year.
Pray that new and existing Bible studies will flourish and that more students would come to know Christ.
Pray for the staff…
Pray that God will give the staff strength and endurance during the upcoming busy season.
Pray that God will provide more opportunities for the staff to meet and build relationships with students.
Pray for the students…
Pray that God will grow the seed of the gospel in non-believers' hearts.
Pray that He would reveal His Truth to them in His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit.
