Frank & Barbara Barker Founders Circle
donations in memory of Rev. Barker (1932-2021) and Barbara Barker (1936-2022)
No one else has had a bigger influence on the history of Campus Outreach than Rev. Frank and Barbara Barker. This Founders Circle is for people who love the gospel and who want to honor the gospel legacy of Frank and Barbara Barker.
Because of their impact and our desire to honor their gospel legacy, in 2019 we established the Frank and Barbara Barker Founders Circle as the inaugural group of CO SERVE partners. This group has become a part of our annual campaign with many like-minded families and individuals contributing $10,000 or more towards continuing the Barker's work of furthering the spread of the gospel on the college campus.

A personal note from Rev. Frank Barker:
“Many years ago, God gave Barbara and me the opportunity to start a church in Birmingham. Through the ministry of Briarwood, we’ve had the privilege of seeing God expand His Kingdom in ways we could have never imagined. We are so thankful.
Our biggest prayer for Briarwood was, “God make this a world-changing church.” There are countless people, ministries, and new churches to which we could point for how God has been so generous to answer that prayer. I believe that Campus Outreach is one of the key ways God has worked to bring world-changing impact. It has been a joy for me to see Campus Outreach grow from our first 2 staff at Briarwood to over 750 staff now serving through 30 churches on 6 continents. God has truly done a great work.”
