Nick traveled with a small team from Brisbane, Australia, to spend several weeks ministering in Thailand. It was evident to his peers that the experience made a difference in his life. Grant Linneman, the Tasman Network Director, met with Nick after the trip and shared, “This trip has made such a difference in Nick. I see him engaging intentionally with friends and taking opportunities to give his life away. It seems that trying it (ministry) was transformative!”

It seems Nick agrees. He shared, “The cross-cultural project in Thailand was an experience like no other. Seeing the Gospel captivate so many people in a context so unlike my own was such a deep encouragement to my faith and reminded me that God’s love is for people of all nations, tribes, and tongues. It equipped me to appreciate better the importance of understanding culture as we evangelize.

 It made me reflect more deeply on what Australian culture looks like and how best to love others with it in mind. It gave me a global vision for God’s glory that I had never experienced.”
