Snapshot: Multiplication in Troy

Last year, Chance came to know Christ and went to Summer Beach Project (SBP), hoping to be equipped in his new faith. Aaron Walker, Staff at Troy University, had spent the previous three years laboring in Chance’s fraternity with no visible results. He came alongside Chance, and the two returned to campus to labor together after SBP. This summer, eight fraternity brothers attended SBP; by summer’s end, all had surrendered their lives to Christ. They returned to campus this fall feeling personal responsibility for the ministry to their fraternity and are excited to see what God will do.

Aaron is meeting with half of the guys and shepherding Chance as he leads the other half. There is also a student-led Bible Study with ALL of the freshman brothers. “God is using Chance as an ‘insider’ to do more than I ever could. I’m going to get out of the way,” Aaron says. Chance says he is “fired up to own this,” which frees Aaron to focus on other areas of campus as he trusts God to do this all again.

Please pray that God will continue to mature these new believers and draw other men to himself. Pray for Aaron as he establishes and equips these young laborers, and ask God to multiply his life again in other areas of the campus.
