It is Right

Campus Outreach Thailand sent an expansion team to Udon Thani in 2019. Through the ups and downs of new ministry and the unexpected intrusion of COVID-19, God has worked to raise up a group of twelve students seeking to be established in their young faith.

As 2023 came to a close, Thai staff, Wutt, and Intern Au took two guys to a COT men’s retreat. Staff and students came together for fellowship, fun, and to focus on the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Together, they looked at Ephesians 4 and considered the word ยอมจำนน, which means to yield or give yourself up, in the context of surrendering to Jesus.

Ice, Wutt, Au, Brian

Brian, a newer believer, returned to Udon Thani and sat next to Moe, the CO Director, at church that Sunday. He told Moe about the retreat and all he had learned. Moe asked him what he thought about the Lordship of Jesus … did he think it was right that someone else would be the boss of his life? Brian looked him in the eye and responded, “It is right for me.” After a Thai becomes a Christian, they must decide when and how they will tell their family. It really is a Lordship decision. Brian went right home and shared with his parents that he is a follower of Jesus. Praise the Lord for giving Brian this faith!
